How does the online PowerPoint viewer work?

Our PowerPoint viewer converts your PPT or PPTX files to PDF format first, then converts each page to high-quality PNG images for viewing in your browser. Simply upload your presentation file, and once converted, you can view each slide as a crisp image with our built-in slideshow controls. The conversion happens securely on our servers and the viewing is done entirely in your browser.

What PowerPoint file formats are supported?

Our viewer supports both .ppt (PowerPoint 97-2003) and .pptx (PowerPoint 2007 and later) file formats. These are the most common PowerPoint presentation formats used across different versions of Microsoft PowerPoint.

Can I use the slideshow feature?

Yes! Once your presentation is loaded as PNG images, you can use our slideshow controls to play through your slides automatically. You can adjust the timing between slides (2s, 3s, 5s, or 10s), pause/resume the slideshow, and navigate manually using the previous/next buttons.

Is there a fullscreen viewing mode?

Absolutely! You can expand your presentation to fullscreen mode for a better viewing experience. This is especially useful when presenting or when you want to focus on the content without distractions. Use the fullscreen button in the control panel.

Can I download the slides as images?

Yes! You can download individual slides as PNG images by clicking on any slide thumbnail, or download all slides at once as a ZIP file containing all PNG images. You can also still download the original converted PDF if needed.

What image quality can I expect?

Our converter generates high-quality PNG images at 2x scale for crisp, clear text and graphics. The images maintain the original formatting, colors, and layout of your PowerPoint slides, making them perfect for sharing or printing.

Can I see all slides at once?

Yes! Below the main slide viewer, you'll find a thumbnail grid showing all slides from your presentation. You can click on any thumbnail to jump directly to that slide, and each thumbnail shows a download option for that specific slide.

Is my presentation data secure?

Yes, we take security seriously. Your uploaded files are processed securely and are automatically deleted from our servers after processing. The conversion and viewing happen in a secure environment, and we don't store or share your presentation content.

What's the maximum file size I can upload?

The maximum file size depends on your presentation's complexity and content. Generally, files up to 50MB are supported. If your file is larger, consider compressing images within your presentation or splitting it into smaller files.

Why do I need to complete verification before uploading?

The verification step helps us prevent abuse and ensure our service remains available for legitimate users. It's a quick security check that helps protect our servers from automated attacks and spam uploads.

Can I view presentations on mobile devices?

Yes, our PowerPoint viewer is fully responsive and works on mobile devices, tablets, and desktop computers. The interface adapts to your screen size, and all viewing controls are touch-friendly for mobile users. The PNG images scale perfectly on any screen size.

How long does the conversion process take?

Conversion time depends on your presentation's size and complexity. Most presentations convert within 1-3 minutes for the PDF conversion, plus an additional 30-60 seconds to generate the PNG images. You'll see a progress bar and estimated time remaining during the conversion process. The maximum processing time is 3 minutes.
